I intended to write the backstory of the Guild's vote on the adopted definition of natural isolates today because of the press release going out today, but it's a huge post, and I need to proof it. In the meantime, I wanted to offer you this eye candy of roses and their scents just for the sheer enjoyment of it. They're from Martha Steward magazine, and I found them floating on the internet.

Anya McCoy founded the USA's first modern natural perfume line in 1991. Since then, she has nurtured and educated natural perfumers and hosts a discussion group for them. Anya is the Head Instructor at the Natural Perfumery Institute that she founded in 2007 to provide a professional course for perfumers. In 2006 she revived the Natural Perfumers Guild, a trade association. She is a recognized leader in the art and the 'go-to' person for anyone interested in natural perfume.

I loved all of beautiful roses pictured. Some of them I have grown or at least smelled the flowers..It would be great to have a smell button on this page. Thank you for sharing Anya. Eye candy for sure...
ReplyDeleteI've seen the many photos you've posted of your roses, JoAnne, and they are beautiful. It's too much of a struggle to grow them in Miami (organically) but I may try again.
