It's not just for any government review, it's for your own good record keeping. I do use an internal batch and lot number that is kept on a database for my perfumes. <br /><br />It's easy to assign a code to each aromatic or batch of alcohol and jot it on the sheet when you're making mods, and then transfer that to the main database.<br /><br />"Use by" dates are arbitrary. Just pick what you feel comfortable with, unless your country requires certain expiry dates. You have to ask them about that.<br /><br />I believe you asked a question on an off-day last week, and I can't attend to off-day questions. I'm still working on my solid perf...Hello Anya,<br />I'm still working on my solid perfumes which are coming along nicely.Please can u give me any advice on how you retail your fragrances as far as batch number goes.<br /><br />For instance if I had to recall my perfume due to legal reasons (heaven forbid,) should I be recording exactly which oils and there batch number have been used in the perfume its self and do you record a batch number for each mix that you then bottle/package?<br />I am wondering is there a method of logging your ingredients that you use while blending.<br /><br />How can I come to a use by date with out waiting and watching for months!!<br /><br />Thank you regards Maxinemaxinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06175340934914069472noreply@blogger.com
